The instrument that measures the flow rate by detecting the fluid flow behavior is called ultrasonic flowmeter. Because of the high precision of the instrument, the general precision and fault problems are mostly difficult.
Briefly introduce how to analyze the faults of ultrasonic flowmeter when measuring. Ultrasonic flowmeter includes ultrasonic sensor, electronic circuit, flow display and accumulation system. The flow measurement accuracy of ultrasonic measuring instrument is hardly affected by temperature, pressure, viscosity, density and other parameters. It can also make non-contact portable measuring instruments, and solve the flow measurement problems of highly corrosive, non-conductive, radioactive and flammable media of other types of instruments.
Ultrasonic flowmeter can be installed for non-contact flow measurement outside the pipe. The cost of the instrument has nothing to do with the diameter of the pipe to be measured. It is a good large caliber flow measuring instrument. In addition, the ultrasonic flowmeter does not need to install a measuring element in the fluid, so the flow state of the fluid will not change, no additional resistance will be generated, and the use of the production pipeline will not be affected. Maintenance of ultrasonic flowmeter:
1. Check the zero flow of ultrasonic flowmeter. The liquid in the pipe is still, and there is no strong magnetic field interference or strong vibration around it. The instrument shows zero. At this time, zero is automatically set to eliminate zero drift. The small signal must be cut off during operation. Usually, the flow rate is less than 5% of the total flow rate, which will automatically shut down. At the same time, the zero point can also be adjusted through the menu.
2. Keyboard operation of ultrasonic flowmeter panel. Before starting the operation of the instrument, parameters should be set effectively, such as using unit system, installation method, pipe diameter, pipe wall thickness, pipe material, pipe roughness, fluid type, distance between two probes, flow rate unit, minimum speed, maximum speed, etc. Only when all parameters are input correctly can the instrument display the actual flow value correctly.
3. Regular calibration of ultrasonic flowmeter. In order to ensure the accuracy of flowmeter, it is necessary to calibrate it regularly. Usually, portable flowmeter with high precision is used for direct comparison. The measured data is used for calculation: error = (measured value-standard value)/standard value. Using the calculated relative error correction coefficient, the measurement error can meet the measurement requirement of 2%.
4. Regular maintenance of ultrasonic flowmeter. For the ultrasonic flowmeter with external sensor, there is no water pressure loss or potential water leakage after installation, just check whether the sensor is loose and whether the adhesion between the sensor and the pipe is good. For the inserted ultrasonic flowmeter, the impurities and scale on the probe should be cleaned regularly to prevent water leakage. In case of integrated ultrasonic flowmeter, check whether the connection between flowmeter and pipeline flange is good, and consider the influence of on-site temperature and humidity on electronic components. Regular maintenance can ensure long-term stable operation of ultrasonic flowmeter.
