The ultrasonic flowmeter can run normally after installation, so it is necessary to carry out certain maintenance and routine inspection on the ultrasonic flowmeter during use. If the signal cannot be received or is too weak after a period of use, please don't worry, this is the normal response of the ultrasonic flowmeter. Therefore, when this happens, it can be checked and protected according to the following steps to solve the problem conveniently.
1.Whether the tube is full
Confirm whether the fluid in the measuring tube of the device flowmeter is full.
Choose a section of pipe, which is always full of liquid, such as a vertical pipe with flow in the upward direction or a full horizontal pipe.
2.Vertical installation by Z method
If the pipeline is too close to the wall, the probe can be installed on the pipe diameter with skewed viewpoint instead of the horizontal pipe diameter, and the probe should be installed by Z method.
3.Fully polish
Re-select the fine part of the pipeline, fully polish the light, change the lotus root mixture, and reinstall the probe.
4.Correct location
Carefully move each probe to the vicinity of the device point to find the maximum signal point, so as to avoid the ultrasonic beam reflecting away from the estimation area and missing the device point capable of receiving strong signals due to the scaling of the inner wall of the pipeline or the local deformation of the pipeline.

5.Severe scaling
For metal pipes with serious scaling on the inner wall, the scaling part can fall off or break by knocking. However, it should be noted that this method can not help the propagation of ultrasonic sometimes, because there is an open space between fouling and inner wall.
Consider the inside condition of the pipe carefully . If possible , select a section of pipe where the inside is free excessive corrosion or scaling. Choose a section of sound conducting pipe.
Ensure that the pipe surface temperature at the measuring point is within the transducer temperature limits.
