2. The requirement of straight pipe section is low
Because the multi-channel ultrasonic flowmeter adopts double integration to calculate the flow of velocity distribution and area distribution, it can accurately measure the flow in laminar flow and turbulent flow, so as to achieve the accuracy of measurement handover. At the same time, it can realize large flow measurement range and measurement caliber, and has less requirements for straight pipe section (first 10D and later 3D). At present, the products on the market can reach the maximum applicable caliber of DN5000, and the larger the caliber, the easier it is to achieve high precision. 3. Higher measurement sensitivity
Another feature of the multi-channel ultrasonic flowmeter is that because the time measurement accuracy is very high, it can reach the picosecond level, so it can achieve high measurement sensitivity, thus ensuring accurate measurement at low flow rates (0.5 m / s can reach 0.5 %). The range ratio is relatively high, up to 400: 1.
4. Continuous flowing pressure construction and online maintenance can be realized

The installation is much simpler than that of the plug-in type, and it will not contact with water (medium). It is suitable for scenes with strict requirements on environmental hygiene. Plug-in ultrasonic sensor is different from external clamp flowmeter, and its sensor is in direct contact with water (medium). Like other flowmeters, factory-type tubular products with flange connection can also be installed on the pipeline used on site. Most plug-in ultrasonic flowmeters can realize continuous flow and pressure installation through pressure installation tools. This technology is not only applicable to the old pipe network reconstruction project, but also to the new construction project, without expansion joints and connecting flanges. If the pipe network is installed after passing water, the investment and construction period can be saved. After years of use, the scaling on the pipe wall and the scaling on the front end of the sensor due to water quality problems may affect the signal transmission and reception of the sensor. At this time, the sensor can be removed from the sensor under constant current through the on-line installation tool to continue to ensure the accuracy and stability of the flowmeter measurement.
