Multi Path Flowmeter
Principle of D8 Multi Path Ultrasonic Flowmeter:
When D8 Multi Path Ultrasonic Flowmeter measures flow, several pairs of sensors are arranged on the flow pipe section. By accurately measuring the time difference of the ultrasonic wave propagating in the forward and reverse directions of the water flow on each channel, the flow rate is calculated by the method of velocity weighted integral.
Since the flow velocity of each point in a large-diameter pipeline is different, if the flow velocity of one point is used to calculate the flow rate, the error is often very large. The application of multi-channel ultrasonic flowmeter solves this problem and greatly improves the accuracy of flow measurement. It also solves the problem of the influence of changes in flow pattern on measurement accuracy.
